These Monday morning drop-in meditation classes offer everyone the perfect opportunity to take a step back from the week, deeply relax and reset our focus and positive intentions for the week ahead.

Sit back, relax and be guided through two deeply peaceful and highly practical meditations. There will also be a short talk on how we can develop and maintain a peaceful, positive and genuinely happy mind throughout our week, and life, through applying meditation and mindfulness to whatever we meet. In this way we can start our week as we mean to go on, with a calm, relaxed and positive mindset.

Discover the peace of mind, freedom and genuine happiness that comes from learning the art of letting go of anxiety, stress, self-criticism and blame. In this series we will explore meditations and practises for daily life, to enable us to recognise these unhelpful states of mind as they arise, and learn how to let them go with confidence.

We will also explore the power of developing and maintaining a peaceful, positive outlook on life and the challenges we meet, to enable us to gradually become free of all unhealthy anxiety, stress and so forth. In this way we will come to experience a deep and lasting inner peace and happiness that cannot be disturbed by changing external conditions.

This weekly series of drop-in classes is based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s newly published book ‘How to Transform Your Life’. This practical manual for daily life shows how we can develop authentic inner peace, overcome daily problems and bring about positive changes in our life, that enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness.

The classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation & living mindfully. The classes include a talk, two guided meditations and time for Q&A. Each class is self contained. With a new topic each week, you can just drop in to any class, any week.
