Our busy lives, constant juggling of responsibilities, and the general state of our world today, can leave us all feeling a little (or a lot) anxious and powerless at times. In this half-day course with Kadam Adam, discover how meditation and improving our mindfulness, gives us the power to recognise, reduce and let go of worry and anxiety.
We will explore how worry and anxiety has its roots in how we relate to ourselves, others and the world around us. By cultivating new, healthier and wiser ways of relating to ourselves, others and life, we become confident we can be free of worry and anxiety.
We will explore how we can fearlessly face the inevitable difficulties we meet in life, with genuine peace of mind and inner strength, free of the anxiety and stress they normally produce. In this way, we learn how to move beyond anxiety, and develop and maintain genuine happiness and emotional well being, no matter what is happening in our lives.
Suitable for beginners and those with more experience, the morning includes talks and guided meditations, with time for Q&A. No need to bring anything, except a notebook and pen if you wish to take some notes. Dress code is whatever you’re comfortable in. Chairs provided for everyone.
Course fee: €30 | €20 for Tara KMC supporting members & study programme students
