Wednesdays, Sept 4th to Sept 18th | 19:00 to 20:30 | with Barry Walsh | at Your Yoga Centre, 1st Floor, Hook & Ladder, Corbally Rd, Limerick.

No matter how mentally strong or emotionally resilient we feel today, we all know we can meet difficulties in our lives, that can undermine our peace of mind and happiness. In this brand new series, we will explore how meditation and learning to develop and maintain a calm, positive and flexible mindset in the face of adversity, empowers us to radically transform our experience of these situations.

The difficulties we encounter in daily life don’t have to leave us feeling stressed, angry or anxious. In fact, we will explore how we all have an innate potential to become much more open, accepting, flexible and fearless in the face of adversity.

Each week, we will learn meditations and practices for daily life – that have proven effective for centuries – to help everyone to connect to, and fully actualise this potential. In this way, we learn how to develop and maintain the confidence that we can grow our inner strength, peace of mind and happiness day-by-day, no matter what’s happening in our lives.

Sep 4 – The art of acceptance and our potential for inner strength & happiness
Sep 11 – How to grow stronger and happier, through transforming adversity
Sep 18 – Dealing with difficult people, with acceptance, peace and inner strength

These weekly classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation & mindfulness training. The classes include a talk, two guided meditations and time for Q&A. Each class is self-contained. So, you can attend the whole series, or just drop in to any class, any week. No need to bring anything, except a notebook and pen if you wish to take some notes. Dress code is whatever you’re comfortable in. Chairs provided for everyone.

Drop-in fee (per class): €10 | free for supporting members
Class Card: (4 x classes): €30 – 4 x classes for the price of 3
